Define your strategy and stick with it

23 years ago today, the first iMac was introduced.

This iconic product was one of the first steps to making Apple the brand it is today. However, 21 years before that, in 1977, Apple came up with their unique Marketing Philosophy.


We will truly understand their needs better than any other company.


In order to do a good job of those things we decide to do, we must eliminate all of the unimportant opportunities.


People DO judge a book by its cover. We may have the best product, the highest quality, the most useful software, etc; if we present them in a slipshod manner, they will be perceived as slipshod; if we present them in a creative, professional manner, we will impute the desired qualities.

That was written 44 years ago, but Apple still abide by those principles. This goes to prove that having a clearly defined marketing strategy, which you stick to, will help you achieve what you set out to do.
